So I bought this nose pore strips from Watsons in SM Molino for Php 119.00. It's quite expensive, but it is indeed worth it. There were alot of pore strips that you could choose from, but I decided to give this baby a try. Plus, it contains Witch Hazel Extract which has the power to minimize your pores.
Its packaging is very simple. This box contains 10 strips which are contained in like a foil-ish material. That way, it's easier and hygienic to use.
The nose strip itself, after you open the foil-ish material.
Description: "Watsons Charcoal Nose Pore Strips contain charcoal powder which has strong blackhead removal and oil absorption properties. With added Witch Hazel Extract, these nose pore strips leave your pores clean."
Directions: Clean and then wet the nose area. Dry your hands and apply nose pore strip. Smooth and press down firmly over nose and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Peel off then rinse thoroughly with water.
Storage period: 3 years.
After cleansing and wetting the nose area, I applied the nose strip and waited for around 10 minutes. Actually, if you wet your nose area too much, the charcoal might spread when you press it. But nevertheless, you can just wash it after 10-15 minutes, it's really nothing big to worry about. The strong odor was actually bugging me, but I had to endure it to get nice results.
This is the result when I removed the nose strip, which was the MOST PAINFUL part. My eyes actually teared up a little, lol. The pain was worth it though, as the nose strip really removed my blackheads. It left my nose feeling soft and smooth.
PROS:
Removes blackheads effectively
Easy to use
Hygienic packaging
CONS:
Weird and strong odor
Charcoal smudges when you apply wet your nose too much
FINAL VERDICT:
I would love to buy this product again. Does its job well.
I noticed that my nose area has been kind of rough lately and has housed little blackheads. charcoal health benefits
